By: Kevin A. Maynard, CAE, Executive Director, Canadian Supply Chain Sector Council

On March 22, 2012 the Canadian Supply Chain Sector Council released its 2012 HR Study Update Final Report. The report, based on 3,244 surveys of employers, employees and education providers, 11 focus groups and 16 key-informant interviews, indicates that demand for supply chain professionals is expected to increase and employers may be challenged to find the right people to fill those opportunities.

The final chapter

I have been putting off writing this post but I am not sure why. I think that it is because it is the end of yet another chapter in my education and I feel a little bittersweet about it. It has provided me with a more solid foundation of the basics of procurement and I have found that later modules often reference back to it. It really helps to emphasize the importance of the basic building blocks. If you think about it, it is kind . . . →
